All right this worries me. I'm concerned this team will make it into some lame horroredy. Halloween is a straight horror movie with no room for laughs.

They need to get the guys from Stranger Things or the director of "It Follows". Those folks get the original "Halloween" style of tense horror.

This movie will take its place with the remakes of Robocop and Total Recall on the "pointless remakes" shelf.

Teaser trailer for the sequel Halloween Kills, which has now unfortunately but understandably been pushed back until next October. I'm guessing there will be some fan push to release it VOD this October and I would certainly watch it that way if they did, but I would prefer to see it on the big screen.
