Boy, it seems weird that that's his whole resume.

I guess I think of things like True Romance and Four Rooms as Tarantino films as well, even though they're not, really.

But I mean they kind of are.

But not really.

Anyway, Pulp Fiction.

I haven't seen the Hollywood one, but as good as all the other movies are (well, except Death Proof/Grindhouse, which is quite. Quite.) it's really hard not to go with Pulp Fiction. Even if it's derivative, it's derivative of things I have never seen, and it's awesome.

Pulp Fiction is his best "film", but the Kill Bill cycle is the best encapsulation of everything that is a "Tarantino Movie".

All of the other movies have some or most of his traits, but Kill Bill had all of them on display.

Went with Pulp Fiction; the dialogue, the non-linear story telling, the different levels of engaging with it. Just a perfect movie. And introduced a massive amount of stuff into the popular lexicon, some of which are still with us. (Royal with Cheese, Ezekiel 25:17) It should have won the Oscar for best picture that year.

I'd be interested to see if Reservoir Dogs could be done as a play. A 12 Angry Men in reverse kind of thing. It's such a one room shot for me, and the dialogue and performances carry it.

Kill Bill, taken as one film is also great. The tragic love story works so well to carry the traditional revenge movie.

I loved the Visuals of Hateful Eight, but thought it was a too over the top from a dialogue perspective. And Sam Jackson was a little too Sam Jackson-y.

Jackie Brown suffers for me because I have no familiarity with the genre he's doing, and I think I missed stuff. It's a good movie, but I don't know the language of the subtext.

I thought Django Unchained was good, but not spectacular.

I haven't seen Inglorious Basterds or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I'm sure it'll happen at some point, but given the subject matter, I haven't felt the need to run out and see them.

J.

I was disappoint in Inglorious Basterds.

I picked the Kill Bill pair. As much as I loved Pulp, I'm more likely to rewatch the Bills. Unchained was pretty good, too. Eight was up there, but not as good or as rewatchable. I recall enjoying Reservoir Dogs. Grindhouse wasn't quite there. I haven't seen Jackie or Hollywood.

I’ll go with Hollywood.... I enjoyed it very much, and I’m still thinking about it.

I think Pulp Fiction is his best movie. I enjoyed the hell out of Kill Bill and Inglorius Basterds but there really isn't a bad QT movie. Havent seen Hollywood yet.

I haven't seen Hollywood yet. Up to now I'd say Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction. I'll go with RD just for the "I don't tip" bit. :)

I don't think I've seen too many or ever watched one of his movie a second time.
Guess I'm missing out.

For some reason I refused to watch Reservoir Dogs again when I saw my cheaply obtained copy had no closed captions. I really wanted to watch it again, but with closed captions. Maybe some dialogue was hard to get, or maybe I'm just deaf enough that I prefer closed captions. Anyway, I took a pass on the second viewing of R.D. For now.

Though I am a big Tarantino fan boy and enjoy Pulp Fiction the most (very groundbreaking). I've now seen Once Upon A Time In Hollywood three times and love it. Definite must buy on disc.

I really love Kill Bill and Django, but it has to be Pulp Fiction.

Just saw a retro screening of Pulp Fiction at the theater last night.

No other choice for me. That movie is utter magic.
