Phase 6 of the Marvel movies, huh? I'll have to go back and see where Phase 4 was supposed to end.

It ends with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever late this year.

This has been an admittedly weird phase, not building up to a big Avengers movie (or 2 big Avengers movies) like the first 3 phases did. But considering how little we know about the new Black Panther movie and the way it will have to deal with the real-life loss of Chadwick Boseman, I find it intriguing that it will be the big finale of this phase, since it will have to largely set the table moving forward.

I recall Namor and Black Panther when fighting in the comics were fighting over the Phoenix force and that led to a story line
about the multiverse incursions, so… I guess after setting up all of the quantum realms in the movies, Marvel Movie Universe
will immediately move to crush them all into one movie reality, and use this to reset/reboot/restart all of their movie franchises?

Oh, and their TV properties fit in their somewhere, too.

Phase 4 is when I started to burn out on these things. I haven't watched any since Eternals, and I still haven't watched Ms. Marvel. I've pretty much liked all of it so far to at least a certain degree, but man there's a lot to keep up with.

I agree. It's a lot of movies and TV shows.

I was burned out as well and skipped several Marvel movies, but then I watched the Spider-Man one, enjoyed it,
and went back and bought Shang Chi, which was okay. Still haven't watched The Eternals. My expectation is
very, very low on that one. But I'm kind of revved up again for more.

It's been uneven, but mostly disappointing imo. I didn't finish the Eternals, yawned all the way through Shang Chi, but REALLY enjoyed the Spider-Man one (straight into my top 5 super hero movies) and sort of enjoyed Dr Strange, can't even remember anything about Black Widow, and have been totally underwhelmed by every one of the TV shows - except Wanda Vision, which was pretty interesting. I pay for Disney+ because my kids want me to, so I feel obliged to give each of the Marvel products a go, from a sense of nostalgic duty, and to at least get some of my money's worth; but really, Moon Knight, for example, was baffling in the way it chose to almost never have the hero on camera. Whatever is next, my hopes are not high. But I'm 58 - not the demographic they are chasing, of course.

I liked Eternals. It felt different than the rest of the MCU movies.

My favorite stuff so far has been the Winter Soldier movie, the Hawkeye show, and a few of the shows from Netflix - Daredevil, Luke Cage s1 and any time Jessica Jones is on screen.

I vacillate between Winter Soldier and Civil War (for all its bloat, it's a Marvel comic brought to glorious life, imo) as my favourite of them all. I was totally bored by Hawkeye and really struggled to finish it (I am not even sure that I ever did) so I'd be interested to hear why you rated it so highly. The first series of Daredevil is easily the best super-hero TV show I have ever seen, but Luke Cage's invulnerability made me give up after four episodes of his simply shrugging off any 'threat' so leading to a total lack of tension in the fight scenes. You remind me here that I never did watch Jessica Jones, The Punisher, etc.

I dunno, I just dug it. The characters were likeable, and the banter between Kate and Yelana was great. I am a big fan of the Fraction run on Hawkeye, so that may have rubbed off.

I liked Moon Knight, too. I hear a lot of people didn't get into that one.

The Punisher arc in Daredevil was okay, and I thought his first season was decent. I'd watch both of those again.
Don't really mind if I never see his Season 2 again.

And while I enjoyed the characters of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage well enough, none of their actual seasons were
all that good, I thought. Most suffered from episode bloat. Could have trimmed three or four episodes' worth of time
from each season and improved them considerably.

The new Daredevil season (4) sounds promising, but it is also scheduled to have 18 episodes!! Yow!
That's a lot of something on the screen. As long as it sticks to the main Born Again story, though, it should
be fine. But I wouldn't mind a slight detour to give Jessica Jones and Luke Cage a visit.

If nothing else, the soundtrack to Luk Cage season 1 was spectacular.

Despite all of this, and despite owning the first two seasons of Daredevil on Blu-ray, if Marvel offered up a complete
blu-ray box set of the complete Netflix Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders, and Punisher seasons,
I would buy it.

Samesies.

Best stuff for me was:
All of Daredevil (though seasons 1 and 3 were better than 2)
Luke Cage S1
Jessica Jones S1
Punisher S1
and Defenders was fun if filled with story holes.

Iron Fist 1 isn't great, but you sort of need it to tee up the Defenders so that is in my "essential" viewing list as well.

Hopefully they'll put out a box set of all of it.

It would be a neat way to wrap up some loose ends from those other series.

I'm hoping they'll import Alice Eve's Typhoid Mary into this 18-episode run. In the fishnets.

Also I'm hoping they release it on DVD because otherwise I won't be able to see the series. I ain't subscribing to no Disney plus.
