It's probably a contest between Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet; those are the two that make the most extensive use of the Supermarionation concept. The live action shows only uses it for spaceships, etc. They really went for broke with Captain Scarlet but the tone was too adult. The world wasn't ready for it. I guess that's why the Thunderbirds became so huge; it was designed as an all-ages thing so it had a broader appeal. It also had incredibly catchy music and more flamboyant characters than Captain Scarlet (who was a member of something very much like International Rescue called Spectrum).
