I enjoyed the newest Tarzan film despite the unnecessary casting of Samuel L. Jackson.

The John Carter movie was not, imo, good. And the Tarzan one wasn't bad, and had a wet Margot Robbie.

Ah, the movies, not the characters/universes in general. Easier pick. The Tarzan film was much better than John Carter, IMO. I enjoyed both but I've never quite felt the need to rewatch JC.

I’m surprised by this. John Carter still feels like it’s destined to be a cult classic while Tarzan feels like it has already been forgotten. (I love them both.)

I haven't seen either one but I suspect I'd enjoy both of them a whole lot.
