After the series wraps up this year, production will begin on a spin-off starring DI Gene Hunt and set in the 1980s, titled "Ashes to Ashes". As a fan of the series, I greatly anticipate this. Gene having to adjust to womens liberation and the feel-good 1980s? Ha!
Also very much looking forward to Life on Mars starting up tomorrow.

Excellent news. But when will they be airing on BBC America?

BBC America cuts almost 20 minutes of many shows out when they rebroadcast them. They sometimes also change the music. I find that it's better to view them in other ways...
