I'd like to do some inking without all the work of pencilling... anyone doing a project or just curious to see what someone else's inks look like on their stuff?

Thanks.

I have a bunch of uninked pin-ups. Since they are scanned in and posted , I could spare a couple.

I'll scan a couple hi-res, any characters you would like to try? Click my comicartfans links at the bottom of my post. Except the Vision or Black Panther, those were sold.

Iron Man would be cool, for all the metal textures. You've seen my stuff -- what would you like to see me do?

I was thinking the Avengers' Big Three, Cap, Thor and Iron Man.

You're obviously welcome to have a go with any of my stuff too, if any of it is useable.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but hey! You want to try it, I'll get you a good scan.

Yeah I need a hi-res scan of anything to ink.

I'm not even quite sure how to go about this... I guess print it out and then use my lightbox (for the very first time)?

I tried to go for something a little more organic and "natural" than usual over lunch... it started nice but now looks a little harder and stiffer than when I started.

I have no idea what format to use when sending an image to someone that would give them the best print out (I.E. actual size) without possibly losing quality. PDFs seem to be anything from 7-44meg on my stuff (Iscan at 300dpi) JPEGS around 1-7.5meg. What's best, tech people?

IIRC, the POD place I'll be using for Johnny Impossible prefers TIFF files at 300 dpi.

EDIT: They also say the file should be saved with LZW compression, whatever that is. :-o
