At present count, there are now 3 of the Superbowl commercials that people have demanded be pulled:

The Snickers commercial - straight guys kissing by mistake.
Kevin Federline commercial - representatives of Fast Food workers feel it's in bad taste.

and now:

The GM robot commercial - an assembly line robot loses his job and commits suicide only to wake up in the factory and realize it's a dream.

I'm waiting for the PETA people to complain about the Blockbuster Video commercial where the rabbit and guinea pig are using a real mouse as a mouse to try to get online.

I'm wondering how fast food workers could afford a representatives.

I did wonder at the GM one. GM's been laying off thousands of people and they have a laid off GM robot worker commit suicide? Odd.

I bet GoDaddy was wishing peole were talking about their commercials and wanting them pulled...

It was done by some restaurant association from what I saw. And what a way to be pissy about nothing. Or are entry level fast food jobs all the rage in the U.S. these days? I doubt it.

There you go letting facts get in the way of crass humor. For shame... for shame.

I think I've more than made up for that in the Hitler and Khomeini appreciation threads.

Well, if these sensitive people can demand that these commercials be pulled, maybe we can demand that people not be crybabies about harmless stuff. Think it would work?

With our luck, we'd have to go to sensitivity training for not trying to see it from their point of view, the point of view of the "fragilian".
