Taking a detour from the old Iron Man thread, how many "odd" DVD or Blu Ray cases do you have? I have odd cases for: Iron Man(mask case), Watchmen(Rorschach Case), Transformers 1&2(Optimus Prime & Megatron robots), The Dark Knight(Batman's Cowl), Bladerunner(Voight-Kampff Case), Wanted(Clear bulletshot case), Evil Dead(Book of the Dead Edition), Incredible Hulk(Ripping a Wall open Target case) and Star Trek(NuEnterprise Case). They obviously don't fit with the other cases, but they look interesting sitting on a bookshelf.

I have that Iron Man case; it's nice.
But yeah, after awhile, and after hundreds of DVDs and Blu-rays, I started condensing my collection down into smaller packing. It was very hard (for a comic book collector such as myself) to "give up" on the original packaging. But it really was quite liberating. I started using things like duo, trio, 4-dic, and 6-disc empty cases and started filling them with related movies and TV shows. I even went so far as to cut the old case inserts and pasted them together in collages that represented the new contents. I've even started to just toss some of the extras discs. Most of those I never watch and certainly never watch a second time if I do.

My DVD of Reservoir Dogs is housed in a metal gasoline-can package. Pretty sick.
A bunch of my Simpsons sets are in those plastic packages shaped like various character's heads. A pain in the rear to store.
