Is anyone else watching this? I caught two episodes on Cartoon Network over the weekend, then watched the first five On Demand.

Here's the synopsis: The Secret Saturdays, about a family of world-saving adventure scientists. Doc, Drew and Zak Saturday live in a hidden base and are part of a network of scientists who protect against all the underlying evil in the world. To the Saturdays, ordinary folktales aren’t just legends, but real-life mysteries and adventures. Traveling from the Gobi Desert to the Marianas Trench, they explore ancient temples and bottomless caves and tangle with twisted villains, including the masked madman V.V. Argost and his half-human/half-giant spider.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's like a mix and match of the Fantastic Four, the Herculoids and Hellboy. I love the cryptozoology angle of it and the idea of the Secret Scientists. FUN!

I've seen bits of it, it was fun.

For Kim Possible fans you'll notice that the mother (Drew) is voiced by the same woman who did She Go in Kim Possible, it's very noticeable and cool to hear her voice on the side good.

I keep hearing good things about this. I'm almost to the point where I'll DVR it after Brave & the Bold.

Eli watches it. I find the animation style irritating, tho, and it harks back to sixties type cartoons - like Jonny Quest.

Maybe I am too old for cartoons.

Shego was Nicole Sullivan. She appeared as a regular for a long time on Mad TV, and has made
many guest appearances in shows like Scrubs.

Oh snap.

I am vaguely familiar enough with her that I feel like I should have recognized her voice, but for some reason Nicole Sullivan and her voice just never clicked together.

Don't say that Tuna!

Yes, I got a Jonny Quest vibe, too. But I love Jonny Quest, so it's cool.

Drew has a brother that shows up in later episodes. He's voiced by Will Friedle of Batman Beyond.

Kickass.

Will Friedle also voiced Ron Stoppable on Kim Possible.

And he was the older brother on Boy Meets World.

I think I would like this. It was created by Canadian cartoonist/ comic guy Jay Stephens (Land of Nod, Atomic City).

I downloaded the first five episodes. Pretty good so far.

The villain as a kids' horror show host is brilliant! That's the best character that I've seen on an animated show in years!
