I love a good scary ghost story, and The Devil's Backbone is high on my list.

Also recommended is The Orphanage. Del Toro produced, not directed, but his fingerprints are all over the movie.

I had to vote for Pacific Rim, naturally, but Chronos is a close second (IMO).
