Any comic book ever published by Image is eligible, whether or not it originated there.

If any comic published by Image is eligible, then that's a lot of pretty brilliant stuff from the last few years, much of which surely beats anything from back when they started in 1992, right?

Bone is a very good series, with sort of a modern day Pogo feel to it.

Astro City 1/2 (The Nearness of You - might be top 10 story all time by ANY company)
Spawn 9 (First appearance of Angela, and Gaiman creates an entire mythology in 22 pages)
Spawn 10 (Cerebus cross over and polemic on creator rights)

I love most of Astro City, and I have respect for both Savage Dragon and The Walking Dead, but that's about it. Most of the books you've listed, though, I've never read, mainly because of the imprint in the top left corner.

Actually, my favorite Image series was 1963.
I would have voted for that if it had been on the list.

I think the early Image books had an energy that the more recent books don't have. I wish both versions of Image were able to exist at the same time.

It's brilliant and I love it, but I always 'disqualify' it in my head for remaining 'unfinished'.

One of the most frustrating unfinished works of all time.

Why are so many people whining about Ice and Fire when 1963 is still out there failing to conclude?

Except — if that’s the way you see things, you must need corrective lenses.
