This is the way it really SHOULD end.

I re-read that about a month and a half ago, along with Infinity Gauntlet. Never did read the series that followed it though. Not a bad little read.

Infinity Crusade wasn't good.

Marvel Universe: The End was though (and that'sbasically another Infinity story).

Who was the creative team on that? Never heard of it before...

After a brief but helpful search on ebay, the winner is Jim Starlin on Words & Pictures and Al Milgrom on Inks.

He sure is. Kind of reminds me of Jim Starlin by way of early Paul Smith.

I have to admit that I probably haven't given Ron Lim a fair shake. He took over Infinity Gauntlet from no less than George freakin' Perez, so there was no way I was going to be anything but disappointed. I also don't care for the Silver Surfer as a lead character (great as support, though!), so I never read the Surfer book that he drew.

But yeah, he's pretty good.

He sure does. I really have been enjoying his run on Mystery In Space this time.

I used to have a problem with the way Ron Lim drew faces, especially Captain America when he was on that book. Not sure what it was, but something always bothered me. Mouth? Chin? I don't know.

What I do know is that his recent work on AVENGERS NEXT has been mighty good. Something's changed about his style, or the inker has done some retouching, but the faces in that look okay to me.

The end of the Civil War was near
When quite accidentally,
A hero who sneezed abruptly seized
Retreat and reversed it to victory!

Hugh, I think you've got it.
Impossible Man, or Wanda, sneezes
and all Marvel titles start over with (very
saleable) new number ones, no history,
and a slew of new X-Titles.
