Its insane how much work goes into these kinds of movies. Even the bad ones must have some very talented people pour their heart and soul into their work.

Indeed it is. That's a great observation. I was especially interested in how much detail the author of this piece went into. Tracing the word 'Wookiee' back to a random piece of background dialogue from THX1138 was great detective work (IMO).

I also liked the fact that they didn't try to use the obvious similarity between McQuarrie and Schoenherr's artwork to attack Lucas or his creativity. They simply made a point about how fluid the creative process can be, and how people's memories of events can change over time, which seemed like a balanced argument.
