Not everybody knows this, but before directing Guardians of the Galaxy, director James Gunn made a lot of horror films. Well, he's going back to that genre next year. This sounds like a great premise:



One more interesting thing about this film is that it's filmed in Bogota, Columbia. That in and of itself isn't a surprise. A LOT of Hollywood films get filmed outside the U.S. but in a bland setting that the audience ASSUMES is the United States. This is different in that it's actually SET in Bogota as well. But the only employees allowed are English-speaking American expatriates. Furthrermore, the Belko building is set away from Bogota itself and is fairly isolated. Which probably means that even if the workers COULD use the phones to call for help, they'd have trouble speaking with the Spanish speaking police.

I remember buying a cheap Kindle thriller with a similar premise, but for the life of me I can't remember the title. Six people have to go into work on a Saturday, when their boss tells them that their company has been secretly been doing black book work for a government agency but things have gone badly recently, so he's going to have kill everybody. Would you mind making it easier and just drink some poison? One of them obliges, thinking it's a joke. It isn't. Anyway, the survivors are trapped in a locked down office building with people trying to kill them. This doesn't ring a bell for anybody? Well, it never hurt to ask...

Saw the trailer, not to long ago. I'll give it a go when it comes out. The plots seems Intresting.
