He was originally created as an opponent for Spidey. Then Frank Miller shanghaied him for his Daredevil stories, and now the big guy is seen as DD's arch-enemy.Do you prefer Fatso wrestling with the hornhead,or do you think he should've stuck to tangling with the web-head? Or is there someone else he should be fighting with?

Makes sense to me for him to fight both.

The Kingpin is better with Daredevil. Steve Ditko would never have given Spider-Man a villain like that.

when i started reading Spidey in the 70's, Parker really seemed underpowered from the version i would read about in Marvel Tales and other reprints. He had so many villains that should never have given him too much trouble. The Tarantula had a cool look, but his main weapon was a pair of pointy shoes.

Thanks defer to Beachy and Linda.
(Also I think they eventually had DD fight Tarantula, didn't they?)
