I'm curious as to what's popular with everyone, and why. Short answer is appropriate, but a short essay would be better.
Your responses will be graded.

I wear a light dash of cologne in social settings. I don't at work, though if I'm doing on-site training (as I did today), I'll consider wearing it. I always take a female friend along to shop for it with me so that they can tell me whether it works on me or not.
It is a fact of human nature that we like others to smell nice. The trick is finding something that helps you do that, and to not overdo it.

Huh? I work hard at developing that "natural tang." Wouldn't want to cover it up.

I'm not sure I trust the opinions of my women friends enough to do that, and I have no way of verifying whether or not what they're saying is truthful.

In my case, I take women friends who are already coupled up and who are looking to fix me up.

Not for years. I used to when I was single, but no more.

I don't wear perfume or cologne to work, but on the rare occasions when I wear it out, I usually wear Banana Republic Classic. It's a very clean, light scent, and it's advertised as unisex, though I've never smelled it on a guy. I bet it would smell good on a guy. I always get compliments when I'm wearing it.

Nope. Ivory soap, J&J baby shampoo. Trying for clean and neutral.

Conspicuous omission of deodorant.

My wife got me some cologne from Roots for Christmas. Probably should smell like Canada or a beaver or soomething, but it actually smells okay. Its subtle.
I was more of a cologne wearer in my single days.
Can't stand strong smelling stuff (cologne or perfume). I always wonder how those chicks can work for hours in the perfume section of dept. stores. Must kill a few brain cells.

Yep - answered that in the other thread. Don't worry, if my body chemistry changes, I'll hear about it.

Haven't worn cologne since college. When I did, it was either Gravity or Hero. (I have no idea which company makes either of those -- they were gifts.)

cologne is Cool Water and aftershave is a similarly smelling Old Spice...

I used the Roots stuff for awhile after a girlfriend gave it to me. Recently if I put anything on its Fragonard from France that I picked up a few years ago. Just a light dash.

Chanel Allure for Men, because my wife wears Chanel Allure for Women, and we are constant GroupThink with each other.
