Yes, I agree with that assessment. He was long the character who most seemed to be the viewer, the blue collar guy just doing his job in a screwed up world. Once he was outed we no longer had that and the show, I think, lost some of its humanity for it. That final season is really all about the F...

That's called being an artist. When you're working on it, it's the best thing you've ever done, ever. When you're done, you can't believe what shit it is. :ohyes: At the moment I love all of these stories. I've little doubt that the instant they are declared "finished" I will begin t...

I can't read right now. I'm not sure why. I have five books on my nightstand, all started, all stalled. Don't feel like reading any of them.

Last night I started Planetary.

As best I can tell, that's Gandalf's staff.

No, seriously. That looks like Gandalf's staff.

He's looking at the Hatch, you dummy!

I like it, except having his head down is stupid. I wouldn't pay $40 for it, though. No more than $20 for a silly display piece.

Maybe you could make arrangements with an American compatriot. Ship to them, have them ship back to you, reimburse them.

Though it would mean the books being bound in the American's name.

Jeez! I finally decided that I want to buy the second action figure of my adult life (the first is The Maxx). I want to buy a figure of Locke. Just scanned Amazon and holy hell, they are expensive! $40? Is this a joke? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ILIETU/?tag=imwan-20 All I want is a nice display...

Will that be too big? Just right? The fit will be just fine. I do think you paid too much for those X books, though. The lot of 1-35 you got, you can find the same run on eBay in one big chunk. often for as little as a dollar an issue. For instance, here's 1-70 + most issues until 97) for a st...

Midtown does a good job. The whole first floor is wall to wall trades, with a wall of new releases. The second floor is all the back issues and gaudy statues and busts. And porn.

Anyway, that boat ... once it gets to that size I have to wonder, what's the point? It's not really a yacht anymore, is it? It's a private cruise ship.

I'd be content with a 350-foot yacht. Modest needs, me.
