I read it in AP English in high school. Recently I read it again (didn't really know I was re-reading it, but I found my actual high school paperback copy). I had all sorts of notes in the margins I don't remember making. And I didn't remember the plot -- all I remembered was her being in bed and...

I also was confused by what you said I thought you specifically meant to set the new movie in the Nolan verse during the short time period when he was still fighting crime, because that's basically what you said. I don't care to quibble. The point is ignore that he retired in the last movie, re-...

My hope is that they would do a period piece with one of these characters from the blacksploitation era. Luke Cage, Black Lightning... But I'm guessing that they'll all be updated. That Spectre animated short set in the 70's was perfect. They should capture the feel of that with an unspecified p...

They should just go with the Val Kilmer approach -- recast him, but no reboot. Just keep on running, telling stories during the time period when he was still fighting crime. People will get it. I'd prefer a soft reboot. There really wasn't enough of a time period of intensive crime fighting with...

To defend Li'l Jay a bit, my Dad was a lawyer and though he was cheap he did spend money on his shoes. He, also, had them re-soled often. Also, he got his suits custom altered because they had it last since he wore them just about everyday. When you're a lawyer, and you go to court in front of ju...

Well who knows? The Danish women may have big fat heels.
But I wear Ecco Seattle's because they are just about the only slip-on I can comfortably wear. (Loafers and slip-ons are a problem for we of the narrow heel and low instep. ) |

Your feet are weird? Narrow heel, long toes, low instep. Feet meant to be walking across desert in the Holy Land. We have the same exact feet. Not kidding. All through of those things for me. ECCO's for sure. (If you're not doing the Alden thing -- they're basic "B" width shoe come...

Mine are. One of the reasons I pull the trigger on shoes is that when I find a pair that fits my foot really well, I don't mind paying.
But this problem has been largely solved by Ecco -- apparently the Danes have feet like mine. |

Get an unknown. Guy needs to be ripped and swole, plus I think it works better if his skin is really dark. I used to think of his skin as being almost like steel, and the whole look just kind of goes together. I hope they give him a small fro, just like 3/4". To give it an almost timeless r...

Questions: Kirk's speech at the end is one year after the events in the movie. Have the Klingons been sitting on their hands after a Federation raid on their home planet? Does McCoy's magic serum mean nobody will ever die, unless they're vaporized or blown to pieces or the like? I...

Sure, that would work. I thought he went patooey or something. But he should try to nestle into that sweet Robert Downey Jr. space. The magic totem that makes all the movies make de monay.

I finally watched a trailer for this movie. It was before Star Trek, and I could not avert my eyes. I am now tentatively looking into the price of a bus pass. Since I am the driver, I have the authority to waive the fee, and allow you to board for free. Superman would pay his own fare. I fe...
